Yep we HAVE to go to school or our parents get fined or prison lol but its doesnt stop somepeople... just primiary and secondary education is mandatory after that you can go onto further education (like me) or you can get a job... but you can do both (unlike me lol but im looking for one lol)
we dont go by grades here we go by years... obv you know its like HP, except 1st year is when your 6-7 years old not 10-11 lol

What do they teach your in your primary years??
They taught me like. the alphabet, and numbers, and a little bit of reading in kindergarden.
