Like in the Harry Potter Book, there need to be 2 prefect (guy and girl) to oversee each house common room. Unlike the books though, you do not need to be in your 5th year to get the job.

I want to become a prefect so I can help the new students no matter what house they are in and help the teachers around if they do need the help that is.
2) Would you give special treatment to certain students because they are your friends? Why or why not?
I will not give any special treatment to certain students just because they are my friends, I believe that as a prefect you have to be fair and I will try to be fair to all of them.
3) If you are a girl/guy, name a fellow male/female student that you would feel comfortable enough to work with.

I would like to be a prefect to know that other people can depend on me to help them in whatever they need help in from homework to help on the site. To know that I'm looked up to and to show my Gryffindor Pride.

Depends on what you mean by special treatment. If someone is new i would give them special treatment by telling them where to go and what they should do. If it's special treatment like give others the codes to books and common rooms, no that would not be fair or loyal, nothing like a Gryffindor.

I want the chance to help out everyone as much as possible. I can share my knowledge with them and help them with anything they need help in.
2.) I will not give special attention towards my friends because as a prefect there cannot be any favoritism. YOu should treat everybody the same.
3.) Jessica would be good.
